Despite having a payroll of $50 million higher than any other team in the division and all teams having injuries the Cub's fans have been crying like little babies about the injured Cubs. Bradley is injured and has missed some real time but he is always injured. To sign him and then complain when he gets hurt is pathetic. They cried about Lee being out. He is barely hitting .200 and has 1 HR. Long term he would be a loss, but to complain about a player contributing nothing missing 3 games is weak. Marmol is a real loss based on the fact that he is the only good pitcher in a weak bullpen. But he only missed a couple of games and having a good setup man on a team getting blown out does not make much of a difference. Ramirez being the only Cub with a legitimate shot to drive in a 100 runs this season would be a big loss. He could end up on the DL and has trouble recovering from leg injuries in the past. His loss would be a legitimate complaint.
The Cubs are losing because of playing bad baseball and to blame a few slight injuries is lame excuse for losing.
