10 Chicago Cubs It is Okay to Like:

Mark Grace
One of the all time likeable players. Old school in an era of prima donnas. Loved the game and was much more concerned about winning than padding his own stats. Was an everyday guy. He would talk the ear off anyone stuck on first base. Was often seen in Wrigleyville bars having fun with the fans.
Harry
One of the all time great announcers both in St. Louis and Chicago. Was first and foremost a fan of the game. He understood how the game was supposed to be played and did not mind critiquing Cub's player who were not playing the right way. Not a great orator but it is just baseball.
The Hawk
One of the classiest players to ever play the game. Played hard everyday despite knee problems. Was quiet after the games and was never full of himself despite being one of the games best.
Lou
An intelligent student of the game who is always interesting to listen to. A more interesting version of LaRussa without the chip on his shoulder.
Mr. Cub Ernie Banks
One of the all time greats. Loved the game and still does. Always conducts himself with a lot of class.
Ryno
Likeable despite his nasty habit of getting big hits to win games. Played the game the right way.
Steve Stone
The most knowledgeable announcer I have ever heard. Made the game interesting and was the perfect foil for Harry. Handled being sacked by the ungrateful Cubs because players cried about Stoney not kissing up to them. White Sox fans will appreciate his no nonsense style and honesty.
Shawon
Hustled more than any player I have ever watched. Even at the end of his career as a Cardinal he ran to first harder than anyone on the Cardinals team. It was always fun to watch him fire a 100 mph fastball to first.
Mordecai " 3 Fingers" Brown
A character who you have to like just based on his name.
Bill Murray
Was a fill in announcer for Harry when he was out sick. A great baseball fan who embodies everything good about Cub's fans. Wants the team to win but does not have the bitterness of most Cub's fans. Mostly goes to Wrigley to have a good time and watch a little baseball.
